[Gatesedge] Proposal to the List

As Michael said, the only real con is a delay in your post *if* you send it
from a non-subscribed account. There's two quick solutions to this:

1) Only post your time-sensitive announcements from subscribed accounts
(and be sure that it's not a mass-mailing, as too many addresses in the To
field will delay your post regardless).

2) If you are likely to post from both work and home, subscribe both
accounts.

Here's a helpful hint: some people may find the "digest" version of the list
invaluable at work. Digest subscribers only receive a small number of
e-mails a day, which doesn't tie up the work mailbox or alert the office
mail servers of "non-work related e-mails". In addition, digest subscribers
can post to the list just like the individual e-mail subscribers, so if
something last minute comes up, you can still post to the list without fear
of the approval delay.

Soliciting more comments on the issue, I remain in service to the list.

Stephen
