[Gatesedge] Name Change?

Greetings and Salutations,

A little over two years ago Sabine and myself starting
playing with GE. In that time it was a different and
smaller group. We have watched it grow and are very
proud to be part of such a hard working,well respected
Canton. It does not matter where we are or who's event
it is, we are there working. Even if it is but a few
we are there and they know it.

In this time, no offense to our Stargate Brethren, I
have never really felt like we belonged to Stargate.
I know we have borrowed chairs and tables, probably
ice chests and water coolers and some misc other
things. But I have NEVER felt like we BELONGED to
Stargate. Although we DO share a bond with them to me
it is more of a brotherly love and not a dependency.

I like the name of Gate's Edge but I am not steadfast
in opposing a name change. But if you are going to
change the name-CHANGE IT- don't just change the
language to try and stylize it. Make it personify what
we are,who we are and what we do. If I vote for a name
change there is going to have to be something on the
table better than what we have now. So far, NO OFFENSE
TO ANYONE out there, I have not heard anything I would
vote for.
