May I offer some background into my history with bows:

Somehow, I managed to shoot the recurve out of a bow last time I picked one
up.  The bow basically turned itself inside out, the string was about 18
inches in front of my fist, and the arrow was about three feet in front of
me, point down in the dirt.

I think this is where I cussed once, blinked twice, then set the bow down
and went to see what they were doing under the pavilions.  I haven't touched
one since.

Now, having said *that* ... does anyone have a crossbow I could try out this
evening?  I've never shot one and I'm curious how I'd do.
