[Gatesedge] Request for your Thoughts and Energies

To my Dear GatesEdge Family,

I have just recieved word that my mother has been diagnosed with breast
cancer.  It has spread under her arm and into her lungs.  Her heart
condition (congestive heart failure) and her age (88) precludes any type of
surgery or radiation treatments.  If either one were different, then
something might be able to be done.  Together, the doctors fear that
treatment would just kill her faster.  The plan at this time is to leave it
alone, monitor the progress and administer pain killers if or when the pain
gets uncomfortable.

I fully believe that focused thought, sometimes called prayer, sometimes
called visualization, and other names, can make a big difference to the
point of being miraculous. I request that any who wish to help please focus
on peace and no pain for my mother; peace and strength for my father
especially and for the rest of my family in general.  Please keep all of us
in your minds and hearts as the days unfold.
