Thank you for the responses so far. I went to the AnySoldier site and did choose the 1st Cavalry Division stationed in Baghdad. There are the most people listed in that division so I figured they were probably the most needing. If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Also if anyone has personal knowledge of someone there, let me know. I can always change to their division or company. Anyway, I will be sending a list to Caitlin to put in the OTE so we are all on the same page. I got a general list from the site and then clicked on a person in the 1st Cavalry Division and got a list for that division also. (I was kind of doing stuff last night while i was sending emails. I guess it's a good idea to finish what I start BEFORE sending the emails huu? HEHE)

Yes I will definitely be needing money for postage as well. I've heard from Pendaran that they just sent a package and it cost $70.

I have some suggestions also to add to the list I got online, suggestions gotten from other people, and will have them in the list in the OTE.

I also have some suggestions for you all.
1. Go to the local pawn shops for the DVD's and CD's. they're less expensive and you can always check them before buying.
2. Books are also mentioned. Garage Sales, Anyone?
3. PHONECARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These guys and gals would love to be able to contact their loved ones back home.
4. Please get me pictures of yourselves and letters so we can send them in the package. Don't expect an answer, but don't be surprised if you get one. Also email addresses if you want to send them too. I intend to include mine and if I recieve any email, I'll send it on.
5. Please Please Please!!! tell all your coworkers, family, and friends outside the SCA about the site. WWW.Anysoldier.us/index.cfm There are ways that individuals can make donations also, not just groups like us.

I know we can all make a difference in these guys and gals lives. Even the smallest thing, no matter what you think of it, is appreciated. Go to the site yourselves and read some of the things they have said.

Individually, we are each small and can not make much of a difference, but together we are strong. Let's show them how much we appreciate what they are doing.

Maria
