Scribes and interested folk,
Many scribes in the SCA are familiar with the work being done on the all handmade illuminated
bibly commissioned by St. John's Abbey, but for those of you not, this program may be worth
checking out. The bible is created by Donald Jackson, one time scribe to the Crown of England,
and his staff. While the illuminations are a tad modern, the script and all the work is done in a
historical, period fashion.
Check out the program tonight in the Houston area, and if you miss it, there is a repeat on
Friday, very early in AM.
Cheers, Hillary
