Hee Hee---Since I once did the feast gear for our entire canton at Yule, I
can probably help you out there as well.

Thank you so much - I've emailed her offlist as well as the feast
coordinator. I hope to hear from them this evening. I will keep Natasha
and her family in my prayers. As far as what sort of garb we're looking for?
Anything that will pass for the day and that we would be allowed to
graciously borrow. My oldest son is 14 and a good man's large - x-large.
My youngest is 12 and thin as a rail - possibly a man's small. If I
remember correctly - a tunic with jeans would work for them, yes? I'm a
healthy size 16 *wink* - 18 *cringe*. I have my mothers hips, what can i
say? LOL

It's been awhile since I've been to any sort of event - what other gear do
we need to bring? Eating utensils? Drinking vessels?

You can email me here or at my office - ldrake at central.uh.edu and I can be
reached on my cell at 832-233-4809.

Again - thank you for all of your help ...

I think there are a few feasts left but you will need to speak/email Alden
for those.

Natasha Stoefer just gave birth (rather prematurely) to her daughter who is
still in neotatal ICU at NW hospital. We had to step in rather abruptly to
take over for the event for her, gladly of course. What sort of garb are you
looking for? I have Cc'd the gatesedge list with this missive. While she is
inactive, we dont have a regular hospitaller but if you hit reply all with
your needs I'm sure we can get you suitably attired. We are a very helpful
group! :-)

Another question? :)

I have read that Mrs. Storfer is the current Hospitlar - we have no garb -
do we need to contact her sometime today? I've read she has a new baby -
would it be wise to call????

I will call and make feast reservations today - if you feel there will be
spaces left?

Thanks again,

Liza

Greetings!
Tomorrow is the date for the 15th Midsummer Faire. This is an *off-calendar*
one-day event in an air-conditioned hall. We have a webpage put up by Lady
Lisabetta (Thanks Betta!)for us at:
http://skylane.kjsl.com/~kdw/msf/
Feast is detailed there and boy does it look yummy. We will be having
competitions for our Bard, Dance, A&S and Rapier. We are also having a
Frugal Garb competition. If you aren't sure what that is, check out the
website! Come on out and share the day with us! We would love to see you
there!
