I have 3 partially filled boxes to send and no donations.  My parents and I have put everything into these boxes and have gotten no donations from the club.  If I do not recieve any donations at the upcoming meeting I will combine the contents of the 3 into 2 boxes and send them off and not ask for any more help in the endeavor.  I have had these 3 boxes sitting in my hallway since I decided to undertake this and feel quite honestly that I have gotten no help at all.  It's been at least a month.  I have been promised donations that have not shown up.  I have told everyone that I will gladly pick the donations up if they are unable to get them to the meetings.  I have given lists of the items that are needed.  But even more, I have promised others that I would head the collections in our Shire.  I am greatly disappointed.

Let's get on the ball and get this done.  I'm not trying to be nasty here, but I expected better.  I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but I'm not happy and neither are my parents.  These guys and gals really need these things.  They're over there fighting for democracy.

I will ask for some time at the meeting to discuss this.  I hope that you will all hear me out and understand that I am under pressure, not only from the others who have already sent out their groups packages but also from my parents to get the boxes on their way.
