[Gatesedge] Fabric stores?

I hear you there!  Plus, I have to touch everything. 
It's amazing how different things look on the computer
screen or catalog page compared to actually seeing how
they move and feel.  

I am a big fan of swatching.  Lots of places in NYC
will send you free swatches if you know what to ask
for.  That's sometimes the trick, though, at least for
me.  

Silk is nearly always my preference because I like the
way it looks under light.  And moves.  And makes the
actor feel spoiled. And also it's easier to work with
than polyester cr#p.  Not that I have an opinion about
that or anything....

Maybe we can plan an expedition to explore the fabric
stores in the area sometime?  Wanna go?
