Well, we had good news and bad, sort of, news today.  The good news -- we finally have a diagnosis; the bad news -- it's meningitis.  At least with a diagnosis they can start proper treatment.  Before this, they were just shooting in the dark.

They were finally able to do a lumbar puncture this morning and found the bacteria in the spinal fluid, so now they are culturing it to identify the little bugs and get the right treatment going.  

Thank you all for the prayers, energy, candles and good thoughts; something's working.
