Greetings to the Shire of Gate's Edge!
   
  My name is Alric son of Aldhelm; I am an humble eleventh-century Anglo-Saxon archer hailing from the Shire of the Shadowlands. I just moved to the area two weeks ago and would very much like to get involved in the shire for the five months that mundane life has me here. I look forward to meeting some of you at your next populace meeting.
