Grandmother, our sister Megan 

Rests in Your garden of peace. 

Weary she reclines on banks

Of sweet grass and woodbine.

Her labors are all done now

Enclose her in welcoming arms.

 

Virgin, Prima Vera, Your season 

Draws upon us and we see You

In every new leaf and blossom. 

Our sister Megan wanders 

The paths of the garden You tend,

Make her warm and welcome 

As she starts her new journey.

 

Oh Great Mother of all creation 

Our sister Megan is in your care,

As she has been and will be,

As are we all; comfort our sister 

In her time of greatest fear.

 

Oh Mother, look on us children 

Grieving in this mortal world for

Things we think we have lost

Give the comfort of Your love.

 

Oh Wild Spirit, You who walk

Paths of the peaceful garden, 

Our sister Megan is now in

Your garden, keep her safe,

Keep from her fear for us who

Are left behind, we her beloved.

 

Our sister Megan is not gone,

Just past to another journey.

A journey we too shall make.

Our comfort should be her peace, 

Our joy the love we shared,

We still love you Megan and

We wish you well on your way.
