You have heard the saying that knowledge is power. That phrase is
particularly apt this morning.

I've been diagnoised with breast cancer. It has a name which is "ductile
carcinoma in situ". It means I have cancer in the ducts of my right breast.

It is the best bad news the doctor could give me. Dr. Munoz said that the
cancer is so small and we have detected it so early it is "100% curable".
Doctors are so cautious today due to lawsuits that I doubt that she would
use such a percentage unless she was completely sure of her diagnosis.

So Friday, I have a consultation with the surgeon, Dr. Baker. Dr. Munoz said
that I will undergo a "lumpectomy" and when I've healed some from that I
will undergo "some radiation", but I will not need chemotherapy.

So there is the news, dear friends and neighbors. Now onward and upwards!
Such an adventure! I will keep everyone "abreast" of my situation! LOL!!!!
