Gatesedge fighter practice is scheduled to start at 3 pm today in Meyer Park. I have volunteered to be the Shire officer to attend so the practice can be held. Georges will be there and assures me that he will have the paperwork etc. so I don't actually have to "marshall" which I can't do anyway. So that is all good.

 
That being said with temperatures predicted to hit 98 with a "feels like" temperature predicted between105 and 112, I would like to know how many of the folk in the area plan on coming out. 

 
For those who do intend to get into armor and bash in the heat and for those who intend to be onlookers, I ask that you remember to bring your coolers filled with water, gatoraide and ice. Fans and towels to wet with water are also encouraged. The heat is predicted to be extreme and I don't want to see a friend get a heat injury.
