[Gatesedge] Lady Clara

  Visited Carla (Lady Clara) at DeBakey VA hospital today.  She has been moved into a private room.  She was in the chair, when I arrived and was resting her head on a small pillow on her table/tray. She is heavily sedated, although no longer on drips. During the perhaps hour and a half that I was there, she stood up, under her own volition, and remained standing for a couple of minutes, on three seperate occassioins. Her hands and feet are badly swollen, and there appears to have been some difficulty with an oxygen tube, which has left her with bloody scabs on her upper lip.  Due to her medications, I doubt that she will remember that I and a couple of others visited her today.  Would perhaps be best to put off visits for another day or two, until she has gained more strength, and is maybe on fewer medications.
