[Gatesedge] Party/picnic at Meyer park this Saturday

Greenings.

I know a number of you are on Facebook and have read all about this, but there are also a number not on Facebook and I do not want them left out.

So since we felt it prudent to cancel our event this coming weekend, we would like to invite everyone, not to a 'pity party', but a party/picnic at Meyer park (where fighter practice usually takes place) this coming Saturday, Sept. 10, celebrating the friendship and hard work that everyone put in that would have made the event-that-didn't-happen a resounding success. 

This is a pot-luck picnic so bring your favorite dish, come in garb and prepare to have a lot of fun and fellowship.  The park opens at 9 AM and we will be there until we run out of food or we just get too tired to stay.

Paper plates, plastic-ware and cold water will be provided.  Bring your own drinking vessels and potables.
