Houston Early Music society is hosting 'Fretwork' this Saturday, Nov. 2nd. at 7:30pm.

The concerts are always a wonderful connection to Middle Ages and Renaissance music; several SCA'ers are often found at the concerts. 
There is also a student ticket price to save on costs.
