<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>This morning Yolanda and I found out that she may
have cancer. The blood test came back slightly positive (normal is 0-35 and
she is 37) for cancer. She does have a tumor in her abdomin. That coupled with
the rate of growth is a pretty stong sign that it is cancerous but we will not
know for sure until they do a biopsy on it. It is in her abdomen and we
suspect it started from her right ovary and it has grown into her abdomen
from the pelvic area. We have done all the test and are now at the stage of
scheduleing surgery. I do not have a date but as soon as Dr. Fromm lets us
know I will let the group know. Her OBGYN Dr. Chen would do it but he fears it
may be cancerous and he doesn't feel comfortable with his skills to handle it
right. Dr. Fromm is a OBGYN cancer specialist. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>This all happened very quickly and we are still
in a state of shock about it. She had some dicomfort and ignored it as gas or
monthly bloating except that it didn't go away. That was about 2-3 months ago.
Then her regular Doctor (Dr. Ma) thought it was an irritated bowel so he
treated her for that and ordered some test. When the test came back negative
for everything he order an ultra sound to take a look and we found it. We did
a cancer screening and a CAT scan last Monday. This morning he called her
and ask that we come in right away this morning and talk with Dr. Chen. Dr.
Chen explained it like this.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The ultra sound and the CT show a growth. Her
Abdomen is full of liquid and has her swollen like she is 7 months pregnant.
The cancer screen is above normal. This growth and swelling has taken place
over the last 1-2 months. At the least it is a cyst and will have to be
removed and she should have the hysterectomy to prevent future problems since
we will not be having any more children. The fluid could be from the cyst. The
worst is cancer and it is contained for the moment in the abdomen. Lymph nodes
are clear, lungs are clear, bones are solid and the positive on the screening
was barely positive. Either way surgery is the next step and we hope we are on
time to stop it.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The children do not know the seriousness of the
situation, they do know that their mom will need surgery to remove the cyst
but we don't feel they should be burdened with the cancer fear just yet.
</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Please pray for us and think positive
thoughts.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
