<P>Actually I have often expressed my interest as well in putting in a bid for crown tourney, but was reluctant to do so out of guilt, that Gates Edge hasn't had a very big or steady showing at TRF.( Not just our weekend) Yet, Gate's Edge reaps the rewards by getting new members every year because of TRF. I'd love to "do" something else during Ren Fair season to break up the monotony, I just hope more of our canton will endeavor to participate in the biggest "demo" we do in Texas. I simply don't relish the idea of potential newbies being put off or getting away because there's no-one at our booth from their area(N.Houston/Woodlands) to welcome them and invite them to participate with our group. If this crown project does happen, and if you don't already have someone lined up, I'm volunteering to head up and organize troll, including making feast/site tokens. Let me know, I'm really not that hard a sell, I'm just trying to be practical.</P>
