this weekend. As a new hospitler, you all made it quite easy for me to
help out and explain things as the day went on. With this having been my
first event as the Hospitler for the Shire, I was a little nervous about my
pavillion and whether I would be able to answer all the questions. I was
thrilled that I was able to help out and explain the activities that were
happening around us. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I also wanted to thank Vaclav for another excellent
meal (even though I never got a piece of that pie). </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Lastly, I wish to thank everyone who helped me this
weekend to make it memorable for the newcomers and to give them a little bit of
the feeling that I felt at my first event so many years ago here in
Ansteorra. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I consider it an honor to serve the Shire, the
Barony, and the Kingdom in the capacity of the Hospitler and look forward to the
next event when I can again give the newcomers a feeling of excitement and
anticipation as I felt that day in November of 1997 when the Barony welcomed me
with open arms. </FONT></DIV>
