  Darn!  I though someone was talking to me.  Sorry.

  I found "Eracle" for Wolf in a french book of first names from the times 
of the Romans to the Middle Ages.  It is a Frankish/ French form of 
Heraclius.  Another source I just found puts Frankish "wolf" as Wulf.
