Greetings Glaslynders:

To all of those who are not on the Elfsea list serve, I'm sending this message out.  Let me "plug" this event.  It's fantastic!  Wonderful site, lots of good company, etc.  It's held in the dining hall of an Episcopal Church camp, so it has an Anglican decor.  The people in the Tor are some of the most fantastic people you can meet (they are a Canton of Elfsea if that tells you anything).

It's a "must attender". (...and it's where I met my hubby....)

Maybe we should consider going as a Canton....  This should be brought up at a future populace meeting.

Who:    Come celebrate this Yule season, a time for sharing and caring, with the Canton of Dragonsfire Tor.   

Theme:  Traditions

What:   Yule Revel of 1999

When:   December 11, 1999

Where:  The event will be held at Roloufh's Hall at Camp Crucis in Granbury, Texas.

        Opens:  11:00 am    Closes:  11:00 pm

Fees:   The feast and site fee are one.  $12.00 per adult, $6.00 per child ages 6- 12, and children under 6 are free.  Please make checks payable to SCA Inc./ Canton of Dragonsfire Tor.  No family shall pay more than $34.00.  If you choose not to eat half price at the door.  "Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  They may also attend with a 21 yr. or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents."  Sorry, no pets allowed.

RSVP:   We ask that you please make reservations.  Seating in this hall is limited, for it will only hold 140 gentles.  Feast removes begin at about 4:00pm.  Please call autocrate to place reservations.

Bring:  Every Yule Revel for the Canton of Dragonsfire Tor, we choose a new Artisan Champion.  If you would like to     participate, let us know so space can be made available.  Please note, an entry can be a small body of works or single item display.  There will be the traditional Table Decorating Contest.  So bring your decorations if you would like to participate.  This year's theme is Traditions.  There will also be the traditional Yule Raffle.  All donations will be greatly appreciated.  The site is wet, so bring your own potent potables.    

Directions:     I-35 to Hwy377 or I-20 to Hwy 377  Take Hwy 377 to Granbury. Once in Granbury take the Business 377 to downtown.  Once downtown Turn right on to Hwy 51 to Weatherford.  Travel         north until FM 4 turn left.  Travel 1.6 miles to Camp Crucis          
Drive, take a left travel 1.7 miles to the camp.  This is the               
same site Yule Revel was held at last year.
