I'm confused about the size of the paint brushes. The kind you paint walls
with or the small detail brushes?
What kind of material is used for banners? Muslin?
Which weight needle for the sewing machine?
What are Glaslyn's "colors"?

Anne,
The paint brushes needed will depend on the amount of detail in the banner.
For large areas to paint, yes a 1"-2" brush works great. For smaller areas,
a smaller bristle works best.
Muslin will work but canvas works better. The heavier fabric works best
with banners since they will stand better to the weather and won't tear as
easily. Although, if you want a flowing banner, silk is preferred.
With regard to the weight of needle for the sewing machine....depends on the
fabric. Heavier fabric requires a stronger needle.
I don't think the purpose of this party is to make Glaslyn's heraldry. It's
just to make banners to cover up mundanity. Bring the colors that *you*
want to use.
I hope this helps.
Ceinwen~
