Sorry to bother everyone with this, so please disregard the massive
announcement.
HEY DONNEL - CHECK THIS OUT!!!! Look at the 2nd section
where it talks about a Teacher Career Day with over 100 school
districts attending. If you are around in this area, bring your
resume and attend. You can even interview on the spot!
Good luck.

The Career Opportunities Center reminds you about two important
events occurring this week and next:
Teacher Job Seeker Interview Panel
Wednesday, April 4, 2001
5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Matthews Hall, Room 109
Panelists include representatives from Frisco ISD, Keller ISD,
Region X Education Service Center (Richardson), and the UNT
Career Opportunities Center. Each panelist is a certified teacher
with extensive experience in teacher recruitment and hiring. Topics
will include resume writing, interviewing skills, job search
strategies, and tips for selling oneself to prospective employers.
Open to all students and alumni.
Teacher Education Career Day
Wednesday, April 11, 2001
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
UNT Coliseum
Approximately 100 school districts will send over 200
representatives to this annual event, which is among the largest
university-based teacher recruitment events in the state.
Persons seeking a career in K-12 education are strongly
encouraged to take advantage of this great networking opportunity
by arriving early, dressing for success, anticipating same-day
interviews, and bringing lots of resumes. A browse period will
begin at 9 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. Interviews
may be scheduled with individual districts beginning at 10:30 a.m.,
so early arrival is a must!
Participants must register with the Career Opportunities Center
(www.unt.edu/coc/, then click on UNT Students/Alumni) and
should also complete the Profile for Certified Teachers
(www.unt.edu/coc, then click on Teacher Candidates Only) to
attend the job fair.
Additional information about these and other career-related events
may be obtained by visiting the COC website and viewing the links
entitled "Announcements/Events/Career Fairs" and "Workshops."
Persons requiring accommodations under the Americans with
Disabilities Act should contact the Career Opportunities Center at
