Greetings to Glaslyn

Saturday was a day of surprises and fun for me. The Coronation went well,
giving me a lot of ideas and background for other things . . . .

And i learned that i had been appointed/approved to be the Canton's Arts and
Sciences Minister. This was an exciting moment for me - especially because
i think i can truly say that there are a whole Canton-full of talented,
capable people in this area here in Glaslyn. Being allowed to work among
you this next term will be a challenge and a great pleasure. And i'll need
the expertise of every Glaslynite out there, please!

Ummm, Lady Lavina - the five minute speech. . . . . . I may need help with
that . . . . .

Lady Capricia, i think i have enough material here for two separate
classes - how about a Garb 101 - Tunics and Pants, and Garb 102 - Smocks,
Patterns, and ??? ? The 101 students could bring material for a tunic (4
yd female, 3 yd male, unless huge), the others could bring muslin for
pattern tracing? Or am i getting carried away again?

In Service,
Caroleigh von Bremerhaven
