Just to clarify.
The financial committee met and chose a bid. (Easy as only one each was
submitted for the event and the "feast".) Congratulations to Lord Lothar,
Lady Gerita, and Lord Sebastian.
The bids will be presented to the populace at the next meeting.
In service,
Melissent the Capricious
Treasurer of Glaslyn

Here are the dates we discussed at last night's meeting:
Guild meetings
Dance - Second, Fourth Thursdays - the 10th and 24th this month. Denton VAC
dance studio
Scribes & Illuminers - Every Thursday 7 - 9 p.m. HL Ceinwen's house.
Textiles - Second Wednesdays, April 9 this month. Lady Gerita's house 7 - 9
p.m. This month we'll talk about weaving.
Events and the like:
April 12. Sari Excursion 1:00 p.m. at the Sari store at 183 and MacArthur.
Our own Lady Toryn will lead.
April 14. Steppes Herbal Guild.
April 19. Steppes Mini-Collegium. Theme: Textile arts.
Mistress Xene's house in Cedar Hill.
May 3. Don't forget, Crown Tourney is in Northern Region - our back yard!
Other Good Stuff
Bids are OPEN for Steppes Artisan. Date is set for the first weekend in
August, although at this moment there is no site.
Prizes are needed for War Lord. Contact Lady Nuala.
Steppes Pavillion will be UP at Elfsea's Spring Faire, and all Glaslyners
are invited to enjoy the day beneath its shady protection.
Lady Gerita has pieces of the new Steppes Baronial Cloaks that need
embroidering on. The embroidery needs to be done by the first of May. . . .
.
Please write to the City of Carrollton, asking that the archery field be
re-opened. Without it, Glaslyn Archers have nowhere to practice.
Steppes Chivalric fighter practice will be moved at the end of April to Mary
Head Park, due to lack of turn out.
The final 'practice' at the Hill, the last weekend of April will be a
tourney sponsored to honor the 16th birthday of Lady Francesca's sons.
They're borrowing our format - do join them!!
The financial committee met with those who submitted bids for Glaslyn's
Collegium in August. Be there at Populace if you plan to vote on the bids!!
Ever in Service,
Gerita
