Attention Artisans!

The next Steppes Artisan will be chosen on August 14, 2004.  The competition will be held at the Canton Civic Center.  Site opens at 8am with judging to begin at 10am.  Site closes at 9pm.  A pot luck dessert revel will be held when judging is complete.  There will be no feast served.

Site fee is $8 for adults and $3 for children 5-17, non-members will have to pay the $3 surcharge.

This is a body of work competition.  Bring the finest examples of your work to display and dazzle the judges.  Documentation is appreciated and required.  The site is dry; however for competition purposes only, limited sampling will be permitted.  Artisans with special requirements (i.e. electricity) should contact the autocrat.

We will be having a pot luck dessert revel this year at Steppes Artisan.   Is there a better way to spend your afternoon than eating delicious desserts?  After clean-up from the Artisan competition has begun and the judges have been dismissed to make their final decision, desserts will be served.   

Cooks and bakers and dessert artists, you may also choose to enter a dessert in the Subtlety Competition.  There is no specific theme, but creativity is a must.  Prizes and wordfame will be awarded to the subtlety selected by the "secret judges"

Other activities will be provided for your entertainment.  A games table will be set up to test your skills.  Also a children's fighter practice will be held in the hall to help improve their talents and give them an opportunity to work on basic fighting drills.  A heavy fighter practice will be held outside for the adults.
