For your consideration....
There is a good site for a day event near the dam at Grapevine Lake. It
has a covered pavillion, lots of space, and is rentable (probably through
Grapevine Parks & Rec). The one concern I would have would be parking. I
am pretty certain though that overnight camping would be out of the
question.
