( Insert varied sheep jokes)

June 22nd. 730 till practice takes over . Elf sea

Sheep ball is played usually between 2 five person teams and one "sheep"
2. Halves of 150 seconds. Are played. Usually its four single swords and one mass weapon per team.
Teams try and take the sheep over the other teams goal line. If you are killed you take a knee for an eight count and then continue play. If your legged or armed then you keep your injury till your next death. To the crowds amusement this is usually assisted by ones own team mates.
Yes the sheep can be used as a shield but is not a lethal weapon, though sheep have been known to attack.

The field is usually narrow and not terribly long. ( I have played on sand, oh my that sucked so bad - the sheep was declared the winner). The mass weapon fighter is usually the goalie.

It teaches field movement, situational awareness and communication. Its good training. Its also a tremendous amount of fun.

Did I mention it was a bunch of fun.

Ok. Glaslynn needs five stout warriors for sheep ball in elfsea in two weeks.
Its going to be down right woolly.  So who thinks they could make it?
