[Glaslyn] Site for possible weeknight practice in The Colony

Wihtric Wihtrmunding does send greetings to the folk of Steppes and Glaslyn!

To all the people in The Colony and surrounding areas who might be interested 
(or anyone just interested regardless), I think I found a good place in TC for a 
weeknight fighter practice. The refinished Chidlren's Park up at the Rec Center 
(by the Police Station) has lighting, a covered pavillion, and with the Rec 
Center open til 9 PM, bathrooms/water fountains we can use plus plenty of 
playing room for the kiddos (the playground is pretty good size). I was thinking 
we could start after Gulf Wars. Write if interested so we can knock out a day 
and time.
 
The only immdediate down side is, in anticipation of shutting down Main/423 in 
the next year or so, they are working on North Colony Blvd for the next while.  
They are just now starting to pave one side from Main to Paige, then will start 
the other side.  However it is still accessible otherwise though traffic might 
be a pain.  Coming in from Little Elm/DEnton/Aubrey/etc., the traffic is not 
nearly as bad at night coming in as it is going out at the same time from The 
Colony.  Coming fromthe south, taking PAige/Plano Pkwy to NoCo Blvd, works 
better that time of day.

Also the Rec Cnter has two rooms we can rent for classes, A&S nights, etc.  One 
is about classroom sized and has no furniture so it great for banners and such.  
The other is a smaller dance practice room with a piano and mirror but can be 
used for anything else.
