Forwarded per request. Sounds like fun.

This Thursday, August 2nd, is our first Open House. We will open our home every Thursday for anyone who wants to come over to get help with sewing, use our research library, learn about embroidery, charter painting, bardic, brewing, research, documentation, or SCA culture and history. In the future we will be holding classes on various topics. At some point we will be doing ceramics and wood working, but we do not have the shop set up yet.

This is not intended to be just an A&S night, people are welcome to come and just visit.

The house will be open from 6:00 to 9:00 every Thursday evening. To kick things off, this Thursday we will be grilling hot dogs and burgers. You are welcome to bring anything else you would like to eat, but you don't have to bring anything.

Well behaved children are welcome, but the house is in no way child-proofed. Garb not required.
Our address is:
5701 Blueridge DR.Fort Worth, TX 76112

Robert and Katrine

Could someone please forward this to the Steppes list.
