one), reported 4 practices with 4 new fighters and no injuries.

<LI><FONT size=3><FONT face=Arial>Minister of Arts Sciences, Lord Vincenzo
Cellini announced the newest Glaslyn Artisan - Honourable Lady Katya.
Galen, a recent newcomer to our area was chosen Glaslyn's Keeper of the
Flame. Vincenzo hopes to have a Bardic Arts Collegium before Fall

<LI><FONT face=Arial><FONT size=3>The Treasurer, Lord John de Irwyne,
reports we still have money. </FONT> </FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT face=Arial size=3>The Rapier Marshal, Don Brendan, was excited
to receive two complete sets of Baronial loaner gear. We have lost our
indoor site due to the city reshuffling the use of the Rec center
facilities. If you know of a good indoor site for Rapier Practice,
please contact Don Brendan or the Seneschal.</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT face=Arial size=3>Our Hospitaler, Lady Clare, continues to receive
newcomer contacts (YEA!). She reports the office is badly in
need of loaner garb in larger sizes (XXL & XXXL) for both men and
women. If you can help, please coordinate with the Hospitaler
regarding this.</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT face=Arial size=3>Our Archer Marshal, Lord Jacques de Spinks, could
not be at the meeting, but sent news that Static Practice is continuing
at the usual time and location. A weekly Combat Archery practice is
being added, at 8:00 am on Sundays at the Eastfield College range.</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT face=Arial size=3>The Chirurgeon, Lady Liadan, proudly announced two
new chirurgeon apprentices, Lord Brendon and Lady Anne the Spinster. She
encouraged everyone to continue to drink lots of water, and stay cool at
events.</FONT></LI>
<LI><FONT face=Arial size=3>The Demo Coordinator, Lord Iames, reminded us of
the Celtic Heritage Festival coming up October 10-12. Please see the

Performance Bardic had 12 people and 2 instruments. Sing-a-long
Bardic has been suspended temporarily. This group meets the fourth

second Wednesday of the month now.</FONT></LI><U>

Kingdom is in need of charters. If you have any at home, please
complete them or join them on Guild night.</FONT></LI><U>

group is off to a GREAT start. They have over 20 regulars who attend
every Monday. They would love to have more ladies attend (pay attention
girls, this means the men outnumber the ladies right now).</FONT></LI><U>

size=3>: The guild is scheduled to study headgear in Oct and fans in

Business Meeting this month. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=3>They announced that bids for Baron/ess would close at
the end of the meeting. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=3>Application letters were read by the applicants and
there was a brief Question and Answer session </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=3>Their Excellencies reminded everyone that the polling
being taken by the Crown does not necessarily guarantee that the Candidate(s)
withe the most "votes" will get the job. Our Dream is not a democracy, but
a monarchy and the new Baron/ess will be at the discretion of the Their
Majesties. The new Baron/ess will be announced at Steppes Fall Court, and
Invested at Twelfth Night.</FONT></P>
