HNW - Book recommendation for period embroidery

I'll have to take another look at the book which is a British Museum
publication.  BTW Kay is Keeper of Textiles and Costume at The Museum of
London.  She and Satina Levy at the V&A quite often co-author though.

Being more a 17th century person I've not delved into that area before, but
the legends do fascinate me.
