One other warning -- ASK FIRST. In fact, try writing ahead to the curator.
Some museums are VERY protective and do NOT allow photography of fragile
items such as needlwork and costumes. The Art Institute of Chicago is this
way, and unless you have permission from the curator, you are SOL as far as
photographing an exhibit goes.
