************************Sounds like underside couching, which is similar to
regular couching, but the couching thread is tugged hard enough to pull a bit of
the gold thread to the back, this sort of makes a 'hinge' in the stiff gold, so
the fabric is more flexible, and could result in work that looks satin stitched.
