Dear List:

Well, I went onto the Web, just for curiosity's sake. I stumbled onto a
*great* web site:

I assume it was created by the SCA group The Order of Arachne's Web -- a
very old Guild dedicated to the study and practice of SCA period lace. T
here is a supplier's page ( by country!). I found  Begga'rs Lace -- a
business I had good dealings with a few years ago. I have sent her some
email to see if she carries the netting I'm looking for. I'll report back
with my results.
