I've certainly always found them to be so, even with the reds (the first
piece I used them in featured a shiny red apple -- I was nervous, but it held
beautifully). Lovely to work with, too. They're not perfect for Opus
Anglicanum, but they're a durn sight better than stranded cottons
Just back from Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, with a lovely lapful of
silk/wool yarn to make gloves
