HNW - historic needlework places in Oregon?

Tomorrow I am going to Oregon for a week and a half of vacation.  I may
have some free time to do costume things (after visiting numerous relatives
up there).  Any suggestions for places of needlework or textile interest,
especially in the Eugene or Portland areas?  Any good yarn or embroidery
stores or exhibits?
