[HNW] gumnut yarns

Hi,
I just wanted to ask if any here know of the Gumnut yarns? I am looking for
a substitute for Perlé Cotton in silk, and wondered if Gumnuts "buds" are
the same just in silk?
I found a place in UK wich sells it, so i think i want to try it.
It would be lovely to make bullion roses with this i think
