Hello Kathryn,
My name is Joellen and new to the list. I am curious as to when piping would
have been considered "period". Certainly 18th century to the present, but,
how far ack does it really go?
Thanks,
very offhand (cos I don't have the right book next to me to check), I think
it dates to at least the 17th c on garments - I think there's an extant
jacket with piping of at least some sort.
will try to remember to check.
