[HNW] stitch count of Mary's cruciform cross-stitch designs

Does anyone have the stitch count of Mary, Queen of Scots' cross-stitch  
embroideries, the cruiciform ones?  I have searched high and low, in books  
and on-line, but everyone seems terribly interested in the designs or the  
symbolism rather than the nuts and bolts.
 
Also, were they worked on evenweave linen?  I'm rather assuming that  but 
want to make sure.
