Hello Friends,

I often hear people say "if you ever need help around Castleton." or "if
Richard ever needs anything." or some variation on this theme. Well, we're
calling you on it. J

The lake level has been lowered by the city and will be raised again
starting Feb 3rd. The ground has finally dried out enough that you won't
sink while walking on the area usually covered with water. Now we can
finally get to the task of cleaning up the trash and debris visible in the
area.

Dale Flatt will be spearheading this round-up and will be providing sodas,
water, tea, burgers and hot dogs. If there is something else you'd like to
have on the bbq or to drink feel free to bring it out.

The Basics

Who: Everyone we can get to come out.

Feel free to bring the kiddos out. They can either help or play on the boat
or castle while the parents work. It will probably be best if pets are not
brought out.

What: Pick-up of trash and other debris along the shoreline, building burn
piles (of the burnable stuff) and then burning said burn piles. If you'll
be around for the burning segment don't forget to bring marshmellows!

When: Saturday, Jan 29th starting around 10am and going until whenever we're
done. Any amount of time you can spend working will be appreciated.

Where: That's kind of obvious. J

Why: 'Cause it is a way to give back to Richard for being the generous
person he is.

Keep in mind the type of work to be done when dressing to come out. Gloves
and closed-toe shoes are recommended.

Cheers,

Michelle
