While I'm not Coenred, I believe I can shed some light on the subject. Mottoes are only regulated by Kingdom, Laurel doesn't get involved in that. In Kingdom mottoes are not conflict checked for achievement registration, I am guessing that this is where the whole discussion came from, but there are some registered to peers and groups. 

On the issue of using Centurion in a motto, I will agree with Centurion Liam that it is something that should be avoided. It would eliminate confusion with the Kingdom award. There are other synonyms that can be used to convey the meaning if that is what the group desires. 

That being said, I like Liam's suggestion for a motto.
