Just received this from Jennifer Hetzel at CTC.

Joe,

I have good news. Campus police will allow your group to have the 
rapiers ONLY for the demo. You will have to keep them in your car the 
remainder of the event, so they will not be able to be displayed. Only 
the members that will be participating in the demo will be allowed to 
handle the rapiers, they will be not be able to be passed around to 
spectators.
