After Crucible there will be a quiet spot with no fighting events. That is the perfect time to overhaul your armor and improve your look. This is not my article (not trying to take credit for it) but Tasha Kelly has a great article on for making a simple, good-looking surcoat. 


It looks better than the sandwich-board style tabbards and are far more accurate for what we're doing in the SCA.
