(I actually wasn't mad at you.  Part was frustration at strugglinh
with a couple of pieces of recalcitrant software, one of them
a lying SOB, and part was frustration that yes, what I wrote
could be interpreted as you did and I couldn't see any way
I could have written it to avoid it.)
