ANSTHRLD - Name Submission Question

Greetings to you all,

    I have a question regarding the submission of a name. I have a client 
who insists upon attempting to register a given name that I do not feel will 
pass. He has asked if it is possible to submit the alternative name I 
suggested to him at the same time. Is it acceptable to submit a name and an 
alternative choice? I would greatly appreciate any advice you all have to 
offer.
