I have a request.

I make what I believe to be a reasonable assumption, that
    ----- Original Message -----
precedes a copy of the original message that someone is replying
to, 'cause, um, that's what it says it is, and that's the usual
use.

Since I at least skim every mailing list message I get, I've
already seen as much of the Original Message as I care to.
I don't want to wade thru it again.
Therefore, I have a program to snip everything after that marker.

That means that the only thing I saw of the recent message by
"Chris Backus" <cbackus at peakonline.com> was

    *** SNIP Original Message ***

For the sake of the reading time and mailbox sizes of others,
please trim your replies to the minimum necessary to establish
context.  And please don't put new text after "Original Message",
because the new text is *not* part of the Original Message.
