The standard late period (post 1200) form of what she's looking for is
<inghean Chainnigh>.

Don't know.  My guess, with nothing to back it up yet, is that it probably
would not have been done in period.  The given name would have mutated into
some Gaelic form of that name.

Probably.  The language combination would only be 1 weirdness.  Though I
would recommend using the earlier form of the patronymic phrase.  It
reduces the temporal disparity (which may or may not be a problem on top of
the lingual disparity).  The standard early (pre-1200) form of the particle
is <ingen>.  But I'll have to look up what the earlier form of <Chainnigh>
is.  The form of the particle that she lists, <inghen>, is a transitional
form...

If she decides to go with this, she should _not_ fill out the "request for
changes for authenticity" section of the name submission form.
