Both "Combined Ordinary of Various Small Ordinaries"  and Papworth have been
used as idea books.  Those devices were protected for a long time before the
Modest Proposal turned them into possibilities instead of show-stoppers.  Not
that they are necessarily great armory, or even "real" -- read the
introduction to Papwort sometime for a big laugh.  But I have drawn some of
them out for people who were interested.
